Amazin' BLACK Razor

I’ve been a Mach3 user for years now and have been through multiple razors in that time. While the quality is good, over time the rubberised grip tends to disintegrate. That made me look at alternatives, which led me to discover premium razors. And while looking for availability in India, I chanced upon the Bolin Webb R1 here.
Though the R1 wasn’t my first choice overall, in terms of availability and price it won out in the end. Overall, it’s a solid product and certainly feels like a good choice.
Just a couple of minor nitpicks - it also has a rubberised layer on the inner part of the curve and the razor itself feels a little lighter than expected.
The rubberised layer isn’t mentioned anywhere and given that it was a big reason for my purchase in the first place, it was a surprise. Hopefully it’ll last longer than the Mach3 razor’s grip.
As far as the weight goes, the stand is very solid and has a reassuring feel to it. Still, the razor might benefit from just a little more heft, though this could be a very personal preference.
As far as the site and the ordering process goes, I’m certainly impressed. The focus on design and elegance is very clear and I liked that it didn’t come across as a cookie cutter e-commerce site. The delivery and packaging was great, with clear updates. I loved the curation of items and will continue to check it periodically for new items and categories. Colour me impressed :)
